Car Design Question

I have a friend who insists on stretching the rules to the max.

He thinks it's legal to place three Standard Steel Plate Structure cards all on the front of the car. The card says "When attacked on this side, add one yellow die to your defense roll." He thinks that before any of the steel plates are shot out that he gets THREE extra yellow dice added to his defense roll!

Page 8, under structure:
Players can equip multiple copies of a structure card, but are only allowed to equip one structure card per side of their cars (up to a maximum of 4 cards)

LOL! };-) In GURPS, he insisted on making a TL 10 space PC with IQ 20 and DX 7. He had skill level 14-17 on ALL IQ-based skills and didn't beliieve me when I told him that negative points from DX 7 (-60 points) count against his Disadvantage limit!
