Has anyone ever heard about a game called "Paleomythic: a game of stone and sorcery"? Seems interesting, I just found it looking around for Stonepunk images and ideas

I've heard quite a bit about it; there's an active FB group and a big thread on rpg.net forums that have authors participating.

Amazon was the cheapest place to get the ebook.

It's got a good rep, and Osprey is known for its historical detail.

I grabbed the PDF. I have a significant issue with the mechanics, as the roll is number of held traits undamaged, plus one if a suitable trait is held and undamaged, on a d6 dicepool, for one die on a 6 to succeed...

Essentially, number to traits is Level, and you roll level or level+1, with damage doing damage to level.

Otherwise, it looks solid and interesting. I've considered running it using the dice mechanics from some other game...

but that's kinda already a fail.
