The Health effects of Essential Water

In the spell Essential Water we're told that Essential Water is three times as effective in both putting out fires and quenching thrist. The thrist bit gets me, if your PC drinks magically enhanced water that's supposed to be realer and more waterlike than normal water, how does that effect your PC? (I've read of agents that make realworld water wetter. Which, if drunk by a human, leads to the human's death by hemorage. But I'm certain that's not how this spell works.)

Would drinking Essential Water, clear up gout? Resolve intestanial problems? Correct poor blood pressure? (high, low, whatever)

What would the effects be on a PC?

If a person needs, say, 8 glasses of water a day, then he can substitute not-quite-3 glasses of Essential Water.

That's it.

Any other physiological or magical effects you want to give it would constitute house rules.

Wetter in that context means 'less tightly bound by intermolecular forces'.

Essential Water, in my head, isnt the same thing, and since its magic, I dont really have a logical progression of effects, but Ill take all the things I think that water does and see If I cant crank it up to eleven :)

When I think of the uses for water, I think of its solvency, specific heat

Ingestion:
Water is the Universal Solvent and Essential water is 3x that. YOu can dissolve/solvate 3x time the normal amount of sugar, salt, etc. This has the benefit of removing minor toxins, clearing up kidney stones etc. Essential Water, due to its high Specific heat, can bestow short term, quirk levels of temperature tolerance.

Hygene:
Bathing in essential water is not unlike bathing in natural water. Difficult oils are removed easier (Skunk Musk, Poinson Ivy etc), complexions clear, and, over long term use, even cures baldness. Essential Water Baths stay warmer longer. The purity of the water means that Soap will lather at 3x normal as will the 'foam' of tooth paste, so brush teeth with care.

The primary benefit of packing Essential Water is that a canteen which would normally supply a person for one day will now supply him for three days. That's really the sole intended benefit, health-wise. However, I'd definitely give someone +1 to recover from diseases and poisons after one week of drinking nothing but Essential Water, for as long as they could keep it up.

Hmm... We clearly need an Essential Beer spell, since it's Friday. However, given that good beer is the most perfect fluid in the known universe, such a hypothetical spell may in fact be impossible. Indeed, previous attempts at Essential Malt Liquor only ended up making a reasonably good beer.
