Default Charming the Fairy

I recently picked up Muchkin Fairy Dust, and have been enjoying it quite a bit. A problem came up, however, when a player decided to charm the Sparkly Good Fairy. As there are quite a few different cards that remove monsters from combat without actually killing them, I am forced to ask if the Sparkly Good Fairy is returned to the top of the deck in such situations, or is considered defeated, and therefore causes all remaining Fairy Dust cards to become treasures.

My official ruling, until overruled by Steve, is this:

You get the listed rewards for KILLING the SGF.

If you must Run Away from the SGF, she goes back into the Door deck.

If you neither kill nor Run Away from the SGF, then she goes into the discards, but you do NOT place the Fairy Dust cards on top of the Treasures.

That's what we do. I guess we'll house rule it, more fun when she keeps coming back I think, for us anyway.

that's what we do too but i'd rather put her in the discards because my group always goes crazy trying to get fairy dust cards (atleast until somebody gets that dice one) and to me it sort of feels like she's in the way cuz we either get her early in the game so we're too weak to kill her or late enough that all the fairy dust cards are gone.

if you charm her or use another item to gain treasure without killing a monster, do you get the full reward of treasure and fairy dust or do you only get rewarded with treasure?

We never manage to get more than 2-3 FD cards out period, it never fails.

We played a game tonight, didn't manage to get to her.

It was clarified previously in the thread.
