I have a player that wants to take Striking ST to increase his damage with his CLAW attacks, but not regular punches or kicks or biting. He took it as "One Attack Only" but how do we get it to show up properly on the weapons table(s)?

That's really not possible. Claws don't do damage on their own, they add to Punch or Kick damage. As such, GCA treats them as one and the same, with claws simply modifying Punch and Kick damage - there's no separate attack to give a Striking ST bonus to.

Alright, that's kinda what I was thinking but wasn't 100% sure. Thanks.

If you're trying to emulate a Wolverine like character another recent thread (which one eludes me right now) suggests building claws as either a Striker (-20% Limbs) or as its own Innate Attack. That way you can explain while he's not a mountain of muscle, but has a claw attack that can open a car like a can opener.

Ok I got it clarified on what he's trying to do, he's ok with his punch damage being with the claws, so how does he get the Striking ST to apply only to punches and not kicks?

Under the current system it's a bit difficult. Probably the best is to give the Striking ST advantage a unique name extension and give it the Doesn't give general damage bonus modifier. Next, edit the Punch Attribute or Brawling/Boxing/Karate skills; in the Edit Window there's a damage table listing, on that table there's a small arrow next to each Damage listing. Clicking on the arrow for the Punch mode opens a Damage Based On dialog entry; you'd then enter the following in that entry:
ST:Striking ST + AD:Striking ST (Punch) You'll be happy to know this will be much easier in the next set of data files. Unfortunately, it required making a bunch of changes behind the scenes which are even more complicated to implement than the above.

This may not be right, but would using Arm ST work for this as well? I forget what other abilites Arm ST boosts besides damage with said arms. But it would be a way to place ST just into an arm for damage purposes. May give an extra line or three on the character sheet though.
