Does the Succour ritual count as natural recovery (so you need to spend the time resting per p. B424 to get the effect) or not (so the benefits are the same even if you hike all day)? I'm talking about the ritual on Thaumatology p. 150.
If there's nothing official I'll probably rule that if you're active you still get 1 to 3 healing rolls per day while Succour is in effect.

The text of the Succor ritual doesn't explicitly spell out whether rest is required, but since the context of the rules referenced on B424 is for natural recovery and First Aid, I would be inclined to require rest to gain significant healing from the ritual.
That said, since the ritual provides 6 health checks per day to regain HP, I don't see why these couldn't be made once every 4 hours, allowing the recipient to combine periods of rest with normal activity to gain partial benefit from the ritual. |

That's how I'd rule it, too. Every 4 hours of rest gives you a recovery roll. If you don't spent nearly all of that time resting (I'd let someone go for a 10-minute walk, for example, as long as it wasn't strenuous), no recovery roll for you.
