Too bad the N scale cars are just over 1 inch. I think I would work with them and make them fit. Maybe look for small cars and model those. There is such a massive selection for N-scale stuff. I recently was in a store that had a good sized city in N-scale setup for a model railroad. It had cars, trucks small and large. I couldn't stop thinking about running a Car Wars game on it.
Check out Tomytec. They have a massive range. http://shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=tomytec&_armrs=1 |

I can't remember the name of the company now, but there's a place which has
1/200-scale car models for architectural modeling use; they fit the counters. Search "1/200 scale models", and some sources should crop up.

If you are looking for vehicles keep your eye out on Ebay for World's Smallest Matchbox. I don't know too much about them, but I just found a reference to them from a long term CW player. There is joker selling them for a ton of money on Ebay, but I just looked up an old auction and a few of them were going for a few dollars If you keep your eye out you may find them from time to time. |

I've got about 20 of the original car wars metal miniatures. I wish I had more though, I got one stinking pickup.. at least I have the pickup. I have no idea how to get more. Making casts I guess, but I don't want to screw up my paintjobs :-(
I didn't see the civilian vehicles at the irregular website, I looked on the 6mm page, did i miss something, it looks all military? |

Someone needs to post some pictures of the old CW miniatures. I've never seen them and will probably never see them in real life. |

Actually, good question: not only would we likethe 'normal' photo from about 45° up, showing them from the front right, but a photo taken directly from above would be useful in this case: so we could print this out and use these images for counters :)
Ciao, Klaus PS: Oh, and the location of the images: simply put them up on the web somewhere (for example, Google allows you to upload images and make them public), and just post the link here. |
