Cynical campaigners (especially in historical campaigns) could also consider a Seraph angel of marriage, in service to Dominic... with Kyriotate and Mercurian angels of Flowers and Trade trying to pick him off; and that's without the demons, of course...

It does raise an interesting question, though. What happens when someone tries to narrow or pervert their word like that, or just flat-out ignores large chunks of it? I'd think it'd be hard as hell to *ignore* chunks of it - it'd be like a Seraph trying to ignore the truth or a Cherub being blissfully unaware of love around them, given how fundamental a word is, wouldn't it? Narrowing and perverting, rather than embracing, strikes me as much more of a demonic thing, too. Gabriel's trying to deal with only accessing half her word (and admittedly word-friction), and going mad in the process. Now, a fallen Balseraph, that I could see with the word of Marriage like that. Marriage has always been defined this way! :) |

If an angel honestly believes that a part of their word runs contrary to Heaven, they must fight that. I can definetely see an angel of Dominic (Or Laurence or even Khalid) narrow their view of the Word of Marriage down by alot if they consider any other marriage than that by which is prescribed by their chosen faith as something that'll harm that person's spiritual integrity.
Heck, Salem might think that the whole world should become one giant city. That would most certainly favour her Word. But that's going to encroach on other things that are important to Heaven - Animals and Flowers just to name AA Words - so that's nothing she works for.
