We get those around here. Every time my brother tells me that he thinks they are Homo floresiensis I explain to him why I think Homo floresiensis will probably end up classified as Australopithecus floresiensis. After another four or five repetitions he will be able to recall that he has told me about this "theory" already.

I guess I was the one who suggested optional specialties in Occultism by creature type. Mostly because I know a woman who basically bought the skill in RL - dual majors in anthropology and world literature, and then a master's thesis analysing the evolution of vampire/undead/blood drinker legends in a number of folklores around the world (as well as modern cinema). She has a solid understanding of vampire myths, but not so much ghosts or demons or fae. As well as the most encylopediac collection of vampire movies I've ever seen.
