Re: .308 pistol
I think Max means something like this Remington or these HS precision pistols.

Re: .308 pistol
What about Guns! Guns! Guns! by Greg Porter? It has a conversion to 3e that needed tweaking. Is there a conversion guide for 4e out there? This way, one could design a .308 pistol to taste.

Re: .308 pistol
Fred, that doesn't answer my question. By the way, I needed tweaking only. Acc and SS had to be reworked. The rest was quite playable.

You are really better off using the rules in VE2 than 3G3.

(It's not that 3G3 is a bad system for creating firearms. You just have to toss the conversion rules and create your own.)

Contenders and Encores are pretty common around here. They are popular with road hunters since they are so handy to hang out of the truck window. On a related note, "Obrez" sawed off Mosin as used by pistol-hungry Finns in the 40's. http://homepage3.nifty.com/LAMPOPO/Foto1/Obrez.JPG |

Okay, and you say that it doesn't kick much more than a .357? Duly noted. I'll keep the recoil lower then. Thanks all around, gents. I think I have what I need. Max
