Playing Descent. The party healer took most of the damage during an early fight, but at the moment all the opponents were over a double-move away.

Healer's Player (on his turn): I'm just doing healings.
Player 2 (singing): Nothing more than healings.

"Who might all of you be?"

"I am Urnst Ironbanger! Wizard and proud son of a blacksmith!"

"...and you Sir Dwarf?"

"Eimgreit and this is me brother Yurgreit."

"I was trying to get her to give us some more money in earnest."

"I thought this money was for everyone and not just Urnst!"

Cletus: “Bubba’s army’ll be here at sunset!”
Thane: “I need a beer.”
GM (OOC): “You have not yet begun to need a drink.”

--

GM: “A heart should never be on the dusty, dusty ground.”

--

GM: “It’s just a steak knife.”
Contessa: “You don’t use a serrated knife to take out a heart. Ugh. Amateurs!”

--

Contessa: “Enos, what’s your name?”
Enos: “Enos Floyd Austin Clem Duane Elmer Huckleberry Cody Jefferson Roy.”
0-1 (OOC): “That’s not a name, that’s a family tree!”
Contessa: “I’m just going to call you ‘Enos.’”
GM (OOC): “Yeah, I just went to a redneck name generator and took them all . . ..”

--

GM: “It’s Bubba Hotep! The Redneckromancer!”

--

Bubba: “The time of Bubba Hotep has arrived!”
Contessa: “Is there time for Bubba Hotep to take a break?”
Thane (OOC): “Time for a quickie?”
Contessa (OOC): “I’m not a succubus!”

--

Thane: “I want to stay in werewolf until I heal.”
0-1 (OOC): “Heel boy!”

--

Contessa: “Is this a pyramid . . . or a beer-a-mid?”

--

Contessa: “I’m going to add him to my Flock.”
GM: ““Bubba Clint Hoyt Cyrus Chester Tommy Dale Lynn Jim Robert, aka Bubba Hotep.”
0-1 (OOC): “Has joined your friends list.”

GM: “You’re not sure, but the truck may also be a zombie.”

--

Thayne: “Men in black . . . great.”
GM: “Men in black camouflage, yeah.”

--

After some really bad shots by ISWAT.
01: “Ah, Stormtrooper marksmanship academy. I see you both graduated with honors.”

--

GM: “This guy is pulling his non-non-lethal rifle.”

--

GM: “He went from positive one HP to negative two times HP in a single hit. He’s not liking what’s left of his life.”

--

After some more incredibly bad rolls by ISWAT.
Thayne (OOC): “He graduated the Stormtrooper Marksmanship academy with honors.”
GM (OOC): “He was valedictorian.”

--

01 (OOC): “Get used to that. [The GM] likes it when his badguys explode.”

--

01: “I’ll help Glitch with his existential breakdown.”

--

Before the spell is cast to send them . . . somewhere else.
Thayne: “I assume crash position.”
01: “Good point. Brace for impact.”

James (OOC): “There’s a reason he said ‘dress up in my monkey suit and dance to the organ grinder.’ Not that he’s ever going to dress up like Gorilla Grodd, willingly, except, maybe, on Halloween.”
GM (OOC): “He’s really not going to like this next bit, then . . ..”

Well, she's either dead or really angry. I don't see a good reason to hang around and find out.
