Default Celestial Forms

Is there any rules or reason why each choir/band's celestial form is mandated?

While Imputides and Lilim are fairly easy to customize, a writhing mass of organs or spinning wheel of fire seems pretty hard to make unique.

I believe that the Celestial Form has few variations online. I think that the rules reason is that the Celestial Form is required to be visible in order to get to Heaven, Hell, or Outer Space (if the setting's using Space Themes) and that the writers needed a standard form so that the players wouldn't need to stop and get a complicated reference for the form every time a celestial left Earth. If you want to find other Forms for the celestials I would recommend looking in visual media that inspires you. As long as celestial forms don't have to suddenly become visible on Earth, I'd ignore the flavor text on what the choir or band is "supposed" to look like. If my friend can come up with a bird vessel Guardian Angel and not break the rules of the system, I'd say that it's pretty safe to use whatever visual representation of the celestial realms you prefer.

Jean - a literal Dynamo, a swirling burning metallic engine, or crackling lightning.
David - flames of blue or green revealing their favourite flammable metals, or lava.
Yves - burning letters making a holy version of the One Ring.
Eli - fireworks 'falling' in the direction travelled
Christopher - christmas tree lights

My Ofanite character as a Windy is described as a six-foot high dust devil/whirlwind with a glowing, beating heart inside. When he switched to Michael's camp, the whirl went from dust to razor wire.

Think outside the box.
