Revetments add +2 to a defense. Is this before or after terrain bonuses and do terrain bonuses affect the revetment d2 as well if empty? Example 3/1 inf in forest and revetment. I've always gone with option "B", as dug in Infantry, in an urban setting, can be VERY hard to dig out.

In Ogre Battlefields, units in revetments get a 2-hex bonus to distance for shockwave effects, but that bonus is NOT cumulative to bonuses for terrain. Another question I had was about 'Archaic armor' as listed in OGRE Mini's. The MBT has 2/2 D2 M2 and is listed as 1/3 AU. Slightly less than a lt tank due to its slower speed. The APC is 1/1 D1 M2 and 1/6th au The specs are the same as a 1/1 inf but they don't get any terrain bonuses. They are worth the same as the updated Militia specs in Battlefields the Field art. is 2/4 D1 M0 and 1/2 au Have any of these been play tested and/or added to games? Maybe a small revetment can hold up to 4 sizes worth of units, for example. 2. Add a defensive bonus to all units within the revetment. I think the existing rules are pretty good: Small revetments can hold one unit of size 1-3, large revetments can hold 2, or one unit size 4-5; both give a D2 bonus to units on them. The only thing unclear is if the sex bonus is added before or after terrain multipliers, hence this thread. I say after - it appears the majority agree with me, but not everyone.

I don't think I'm familiar w/ the rules covering that aspect of the game.
