Question concerning the trojan horse card
Can you play the Trojan horse on yourself?
The situation - Player A defeats a monster and goes from level 8 to level 9. Prior to pulling the monster's treasure, player a hits herself with the Trojan horse and another monster card. Player A defeats this monster also, gains a level and wins the game right? :) Players B and C claim that you can't fool yourself with a Trojan horse. Player A claims that there is no need to be surprised "in game". Is there a "no metagaming" rule in Munchkin? Player A feels as though this is just the type of surprising and tricky use of cards that Munchkin encourages. Full Disclosure - Clearly I am Player A. |

Re: Question concerning the trojan horse card
There is nothing on the Trojan Horse card requiring you to play it on another player, so this play is legal. And sneaky.

Re: Question concerning the trojan horse card
I like that! So in a scenario like that, you wouldn't be able to include your level from killing the first monster into your stats because you are still in combat and levels don't resolve until after combat has ended, right?

Re: Question concerning the trojan horse card
That is correct. You don't get the levels or treasure till after the combat ends completely.
