Default Re: Ordinary Cat

I'm sorry, but that cat doesn't appear to be able to eviscerate a commoner 9 bouts out of 10.

And as you know, we here at Gnomco have a saying, "We can make it worse!"

Ahem, sorry. I know, but it's the official saying. I've tried telling the secret masters what it translates to, but... well... anyway...

Gnomco's Worse Better Cat Mark 6f (TM) (Patent Pending)
Hybrid
Our Gnengineers have combined the already 'deadly' abilities of a common housecat with the abilities of Something Gnomes Weren't Meant To Know.

Quotes From Our Gnengineers: "AHHHHHHHHHHH" and "GET IT OFF MY FACE!"
ST: 8
DX: 14
IQ: 8
HT: 14
HP: 4
Will: 4
Per: 16
FP: 14
Speed: 8
Move: 10

SM: -2/-4
Dodge: 11
Parry: 12
DR: 0
Note: Every attack it makes is at -2 to defend against.

Bite (16): 1d Cutting. Reach C. Any hit counts as a grapple, even if it doesn’t penetrate DR. This allows the Better Cat Mark 6f (TM) (Patent Pending) to worry – roll damage each turn as a free action!
Bite Something Tender! (14): 1d/3 Cutting. Reach C. (Best used on lightly armored foes that have tender parts exposed. Causes Extreme Pain, check for stunning. High Pain Threshold grants Immunity.) Any hit counts as a grapple, even if it doesn’t penetrate DR. This allows the Better Cat Mark 6f (TM) (Patent Pending) to worry – roll damage each turn as a free action!
Claw (16): 1d (2) Cutting. Reach 1. Any hit counts as a grapple, even if it doesn’t penetrate DR.
Go for the Eyes! (11): 1d (2) Cutting. Reach C. (Attacking the face. May cause a knockdown roll. On a crit success this forces a crippling roll for one eye.)
Rake (16): 1d+1 (2) Cutting. Reach C. If the Better Cat Mark 6f (TM) (Patent Pending) has grappled with it's front claws, it may rake on following attacks.
Trip-Up(16): Reach 1. This allows the Better Cat Mark 6f (TM) (Patent Pending) to takedown foes without needing to initiate a grapple. Make the Trip-Up attack, foe defends normally. If successful make a Quick Contest of the Better Cat Mark 6f's (TM) (Patent Pending) ST or Trip-Up skill and the foe's ST, DX, Acrobatics, or best grappling skill. Use the highest value in both cases. If the foe loses, the foe falls down. This may also be used in defense of a Slam. In this case treat the Trip-Up skill as a Parry, if successful the attacker must make an Acrobatics or DX roll at -5 or fall down.*
Tail Whip (15): 1d (2) Crushing. Reach 1.

Traits: Bloodlust, Catfall, Combat Reflexes, Curious, Doesn't Speak, Extra Attack 1, Extra-Flexible, Higher Purpose 3 (Slay Gnomco Gnengineers Wizards), Horizontal, Insubstantial (Partial, Extra-Planar), Magic Resistance 6, Night Vision 9, Sadism, Sharp Claws, Sharp Teeth, Stretching.

Skills: Karate-16; Judo-16; Climbing-14; Jumping-14; Stealth-16, Traps-16.

Class: Hybrid.

Notes: The Extra Attack allows it to make two attacks, these may be any combination of two different attacks as well as Claw-Claw.

Insubstantial (Partial, Extra planar) means that at any given time the Gnomco's Better Cat Mark 6f (TM) (Patent Pending) has parts of itself 'shunted' into a another plane of existence. Our Gnengineers haven't yet figured out which plane (but we are working on it!). This means that though it is Size Modifier -2, it is treated as being much smaller (SM -4). It's ability to "displace" past Shield's, weapons, and armor is already figured into it's statistics. Finally it may Step through barriers (no thicker than it's body is long), generally one piece at a time, though some have done so at full speed (with an IQ check)! Gnomco thanks you for not questioning this further.

Gnomco has offered a reward of [OUTRAGEOUS SUM!] for the return of any Gnomco's Better Cat Mark 6f (TM) (Patent Pending), Dead or Alive. Only dead, thank you.

* Savvy readers will have marked this as a combination of the Sweep and Trip techniques from GURPS Martial Arts.
