What kind of flow volume do you need for the pasteurisation? Would putting heat exchangers in their forge chimney flues be enough?

A rough guess there would be maybe 100,000 m3 of water to heat for pasturisation annually. My current thinking is the dwarves may use a fuel plant that can grow above the tree line,
Miscanthus should fit. It would also serve as a fuel for cooking.
