I'd say it was a fair interjection given that we've already brought up bards as part of a hypothetical cult ... "bardic immunity" tends to get rolled out in fRPGs without people realising that it was a pre-medieval thing and the nearest medieval equivalents were fools (for playing devil's advocate and other "backwards" roles) and heralds (for the messengers and go-betweens) and that being a wandering minstrel wasn't a priviledged role.
