Email is not meant for sending big files. It was never intended to send file attachments of any kind, and while the ability has since been bolted on, it's still wonky.
For various reasons, your network engineers and providers, and those of every single computer in the route between your computer and other peoples inboxes, will be happier if big files get put on a proper file sharing platform of some kind (things like Dropbox, Mega, or an FTP site, or direct transfer through a messaging client even :P)
