Default Poking head around corner

I’m sure my comment below has been brought up before, but the site has gotten so big, I can’t search for it.

--------------------------
So Adolph has his back to a wall in a well lit hall that has a various pillars. He is facing pillar B about 2 hexes away. Behind the pillar Dave is out of sight behind Pillar B. This turn Dave moves up to the pillar and pokes his head around to see who is down there. [Use diagram ITL Legacy p 114]

Using the concepts from “Did He See It?” ITL Legacy Pg 68

I would say that Dave can see Adolph

Can Adolph see Dave?

As Dave is partially concealed behind Pillar B, should Adolph have to make a “Did He See It?” roll to see Dave’s head?

If he doesn’t need to make a “Did He See It?” roll, and if Adolph had a bow could he shoot at Dave’s head?

If so, would there be any penalties for Dave being almost entirely in cover (like an aimed shot to the head roll)?
