In terms of buying one level...
Super Lifting ST [10]
Super Striking ST [25]
...
Super ST [40]
+300% is basically x4 so 10x4=40
+400% is basically x5 so 2x5=10 and 5x5=25
The difference between these sums (35 and 40) is 5 points, meaning that Super HP is worth 5 points instead of 2... which works out to being a +150% enhancement for HP.
I can't remember if it actually does anything though, will have to reread supers later.

Lifting ST is 3, not 2. 3 x 5 is 15 and 5 x 5 is 25, which add to 40, making HP 0, or -100%. That's a simple "round down" rule to make the calculation easier. You don't pay extra for HP and you don't get any boost to HP from Super Strength.
