You're forgetting the +10 from Humongous, so the Monster side's combat strength is 22. The "fight with Level only" effect from
Ghoulfiends only affects the player side. Unless this was an epic game, where the two players had Levels that added up to 23 or more, or player D has a way to remove one of the Monsters, I don't really see how anyone could help.

You fight Monsters together, you Run Away from Monsters separately, so the -2 is for only against
Snails On Speed.
