48 tread units sounds right to me - 16 per MP, or six rows of 8 boxes on a card. 51 might be more "accurate," but it's a weird number that would require uneven rows of boxes.

Fair point. 48 worries me that it's a little too fragile for something that has (in fluff, granted in GURPS Ogre which is fuzzy semi-canon) slugged it out with a pack of Mk.IIIs and Mk.Vs, which is why I went higher. Also considered 54, which would give it 6 rows of 9, in a 5+4 configuration...but that worries me about it being too tough given that it's effectively a slower, +1-gunned Mk.IV with a cargo bay.
