Default Size Matters

So... for whatever this is worth to whomever chooses to use it...

I calculated sizes based on Strength for humans. I was allowing my PCs to take a size different than the baselines by up 10% in either direction. Whenever someone wants to wear clothing or armor that was being worn by someone else, or when they are trying to disguise themselves as someone else, I usually go by Strength for general size comparison. For appearance, I roll 3d6 to see how different that individual is from the PC. I allow PCs to choose their appearance deviation from the average, or simply assume they are a 10 or an 11 (on a 3d6).

I added build modifiers to GCA using a website that calculates BSA or Body Surface Area from height and weight. I then compare that BSA to the BSA of a ST 10 person to get a relative size modifier that I use to modify Armor and Clothing.

This is messy, but if you cut and paste it into notepad (.gdf file), it looks normal.
