I have a question about this special card and I'll try to explain myself trough this example:

I'm a player at level 6 and i've stored under the locker 3 monsters which grant me a total amount of 3 levels.

It's my turn, I kick down the door and I meet a level 5 monster that I can easily kill, so, in order to get the winning level, I'm about to release all monsters in my locker.

BUT another player plays a "Go up a level" card on me so that I cannot release all those monsters because "you cannot gain the winning level this way" and I'm at level 7 now, and release all the stored monsters would grant me 3 levels, one of which is not legal for me to get cause it would be the winning one.

IS THAT LEGAL?

I mean, can I release only some of the stored monsters so that I gain only the levels I need OR do I have to be able to release all those monsters without reaching the winning level?
