Hmmm. I'm trying to dig up the relevant cards, but Player 1 was hit with a Trap, not Player 2, so the first logical conclusion would be that Player 2's carried Items don't necessarily come into it. However, assuming they did (I think we frequently do make that assumption, but I'll need to research that as well), and Player 2 is immune to the effects of a Trap, why is Player 3, to Player 2's right, also immune?

So, my first solid feeling is that I'd lean towards having Player 1 switch in-play cards with Player 3. However, I'll let my further research inform my final answer if Andrew doesn't have a more definitive assessment.
