I've never liked that Singing was based on HT. I've never cared quite enough to go through all the work to move it to anything else: An argument can be made to base it off of IQ, but its not a terribly strong option either. You could base it off of 10 ... but then it'd occupy a weird spot shared only by wacky magic system suggestions.
