Well, a simple proof of something very hard, like the
four-colour theorem or
Fermat's Last Theorem, would be astonishing, especially if it was correct. Not that the ancient Babylonians really used the concept of mathematical proof, but discovering tablets about that would only revolutionise history, not mathematics.
Of course, finding a number of tablets about things the Babylonians couldn't have known, like Pluto, or quarks, leads us straight into
Madness Dossier territory.
