Even the traditional boards are not *fully* geomorphic, some of them line up in certain configurations. Fully geomorphic boards would line up in any orientation on any edge that is of the same grain. Surely, Steve has played some PanzerBlitz or PanzerLeader in the past and knows how those boards geomorph:

That is a much more elegant system than having to rely on fiddly overlays to achieve bigger maps.
