Consequences of this include:
- Emperors start doing all, as in all, of their business in writing.
- Emperors start abdicating quite rapidly, so as to get some privacy.
- Messengers arrive from China, offering to exchange the Emperor's head for an equal weight of gold, so that we can get some sleep.
- Rome gives up having emperors, as the alternative is to fight the entire world.
