There's no difference. All the spell does is stop any further damage. Poisons are cyclic, so in essence it means that it breaks the cycle. There is
nothing in the spell about getting rid of symptomatic penalties, and in this case, the damage is to the
attribute; there are no symptoms (which in
GURPS are tied to HP/FP/whatever loss)
