I find it incredibly useful. I play a surprising number of robots and for them Photographic Memory is an obvious fit.

But Eidetic Memory is priceless for every character I create for story-heavy campaigns due to my real-life memory being absolutely trash and my note-keeping also leaves a lot to be desired.
