As stated on the project page:
"To improve our chances of successfully releasing the book on time, we are limiting physical rewards to U.S. backers only. In the future, after the rewards have shipped, the printed book will be made available through the Amazon print-on-demand program."

This approach will make the printed book less expensive for the international players. Rather than print and ship from the U.S., buying the book through the Amazon program will mean the book prints and ships from a location much closer to you.
