Ok, thanks, after reading that page, I realized I overlooked that one sentence (even though, having played with the classic GURPS magic before, I knew that there probably 'should' be something like spell range...)

But I have to say, the way it is placed there, that sentence is quite inconsiderable, not well suited for beginners. It really takes precise reading to take the information out of that second half the sentence.
IMHO for better access there should have been a fat printed "Range:" or something like that at the beginning of the sentence. And there is also not a single reference to the word 'range' or 'distance' in the index (searched for it). Maybe for an updated version... ;)
