The
session begins trying to mitigate an uprising and prevent a war, or at least a slaughter, should actual troops come to put down the threat to the economic center that is Phandelver. The middle is a short, sharp fight. The end is a dearth of information and a lot of speculation.
A great combination of roleplaying, a deep, deep world background, and the players weaving their own doom by wondering about intricate subplots out loud in front of a mischievous GM.
