Default Re: [Ultra-Tech] Cyber modification price - Under the hood

Fair enough. In that case, the Pyramid article "Metatronic Generators" gives a formula for converting between cash cost and point cost, in the context of Supers settings and using Gadgeteering, but it could be a starting point for looking at cyberware costs. But as David Johnston2 points out, market prices don't necessarily line up with point costs.

For a real world analogy, consider the prices of a brand new latest version iPhone, a gold-plated model of the same, a second hand unit in good condition, and a new unit of an older version. There would be minimal difference in the utility and point cost of each, but you'd get a 10x span or more in market prices between them.

Oh, you could try looking for the Edgerunner's cyberpunk campaign webpage. Some regular poster from here (sorry, forgotten their name) has done a fair amount of work on making cyberware for GURPS.

ETA: Here's the link: https://edgerunners.obsidianportal.c...are-statistics (and credit to Langy).
Unfortunately, it doesn't give cash prices for enhancements, but realistically that would be different for each item anyway.
