You can. You don't use Emanation though. You use Aura.

pg 4) works as an published example. It includes Area Effect, Aura, Malediction, Melee Attack: Reach C and a few other modifiers. It may not be acceptable for your uses as you'd want to drop the unwanted modifiers from the meta-enhancement to properly model your desired effect.
