I'm thinking a late TL7 model, type-certified in the US, suitable for a legitimate helicopter rental company. Absolute minimum range, 150 miles (Key West to Fort Lauderdale), ideal range 350+ miles (Gainesville to Key West in one leg).
Most use cases would be four people or less, plus the pilot, but there's some extra utility to be had if it could, in extremis, carry a two men crew, two experts and six Night Riders with full gear.

My go-to for something like that would be the
Bell 222. It's the helicopter that served as the basis for
Airwolf. Which was turned into an SAR helicopter after the series (and then crashed--sad story).
