I understand that you are annoyed by this. Alliance is one of our major distribution partners, and working with them on a promotion like this (in the U.S., far and away our largest market) increases the visibility of the game and may get some people who aren't already
Munchkin fans to look at the game. That leads to more sales, which leads to our being able to make more games for everyone.
tl;dr - We're a U.S. company that does the majority of our sales in the United States. Turning down a cool promotional opportunity because it only serves the U.S. market would be poor business strategy.

Dragon Claws is a Dragon by virtue of the rules in
Dragons, since it has "Dragon" in the name.
