As a generic rule, we don’t announce release dates until we’re very confident that we can hit them — for physical products, that almost always means that it has gone to the printer and we’ve gotten their estimate for how long manufacturing will take, and for digital products, that means we’ve got the thing staged or close enough to it that we’re confident in our upload strategy. We would much rather disappoint people by providing too little information than by providing BAD information.

That's what I love about this company. They're willing to admit to uncertainty about coming products rather than let marketing set unrealistic deadlines. :)
