I know that here in Oregon, there used to be sundown laws. Certain people were not allowed to remain in city limits past sundown, but could otherwise act lawfully during the day.
It's hard to imagine how that wouldn't extend to some kind of social stigma or reputation, but DF is the place to shove whatever "natural consequences" you want under the rug.
