I hate to tell you, but there is a Zeroth Law:
Two objects that are in thermal equilibrium with a third object are in thermal equilibrium with each other. (It's the law that says that "temperature" is a meaningful concept.) Maybe you could call it the
ith Law, or the Minus First Law? Either would seem to fit ninja!
(There's also a Fourth Law, but it's kind of arcane and I don't claim to understand it.)
There are also the paraphrases of the law in game terms:
0. Score is kept.
1. You can't win.
2. You can't break even.
3. You can't get out of the game.
