Dungeon Sorcery Spells 5
I've been thinking about Growth (the advantage), for this and another project. I see two basic problems with it as written:
1) As part of an affliction, it breaks down fast unless you you're pretty sure that everything you afflict is the same Size Modifier.
2) The canonical answer, given a few times on this forum, is that the Size Modifier cost adjustment for ST is also the cost break for only having that ST while using Growth. So... what if you're a SM -2 halfling with two levels of Growth? There's no cost adjustment at all on the 5 extra ST you need.
I'm thinking that just using Alternate Form with a racial package of 'same as before, but with increased SM and ST' might be cleaner than using Growth for characters that aren't built around the ability. It looks like its generally more expensive that way, but not horribly so.
