Sounds about right to me also. I sold some magazines awhile back and was surprised I couldn't ship them media mail. Which is the cheapest rate. For some reason USPS doesn't treat magazines in the same catagory as books. Net result, didn't make a dime selling them.

Agreed! Mailing things is far, far more expensive than many realize.
