Luck (literally) can make a lot of difference between capabilities. Any 'mundane' who is running with the Avengers is probably sporting Daredevil 4, Luck (Ridiculous), and Serendipity 2, for a total of 150 CP. True, but even 150pts might not make the difference. I could easily see this build slapped onto a 500pt mundane among 1000pt supers to give them an edge.
