I agree with dropping the bonus for swing damage but retaining it for thrust damage. If you do this, then the damage for a bladed hand is swing-2 cutting at Reach C or thrust+(skill bonuses) impaling at Reach C. This makes the bladed hand quite a bit better than a large knife when thrusting (probably fair at 2.5 times the cost) but slightly inferior when swinging (shorter Reach). The short version: Knock footnote [4] off the first line on the table for the bladed hand.

I'm not quite ready to issue errata . . . in cinematic games, the bonus really does belong there. Everybody who has played, say, a Diablo II Assassin knows that.
