Re: Signature Gear Losses
I run Signature Gear two ways. You have a special but not unique item (my pearl handed, golden plated desert eagle) or you have a item that is not unique or special but you always have (I always carry a fine longsword).
In the case of a special item if it gets broken; its lost until you can repair it or replace it (or you get to spend those cp on something else).
In the case of the regular item if it get broken; you lose it. But will always find another one like it shortly thereafter. The small village has one fine longsword and the owner gives it to you as a reward or some such.
So yes, I'd let the heavy weapon break a signature weapon. But as a GM I won't go out of my way to destroy it.
