There were some in articles in the original publisher's magazine, Interplay.

One idea presented re-worked the summoning spells into many levels of spell which could summon a wide variety of creatures. Kind of cool but also made those spells much more useful in creative ways, and much more powerful overall, which they don't really need to be since they're already really powerful.

On and also the Multiple Enchantment spell, which could let you summon, say, 4 myrmidons at once if you knew the 4-hex summoning spell and Multiple Enchantment. Again, cool but increasing the power of already-very-powerful wizards.
