As always, buying Munchkin promos on eBay isn't a great idea. We often reprint promos -- sometimes even packing them and releasing them for sale http://www.worldofmunchkin.com/gp2/ -- so spending $5, $10, etc. on one promo is not the best option. |
also, most of the cards never appear on European events which means people from overseas (just like me) need a source to get these promos....
one idea from my side: I was delighted when I found a big bunch of regular promos available at low cost via W23. If I knew, that after a certain time I could order all promos that way, I could wait for that time to come.
Personally I don't like the reprints like the "Gets Promoted" because the cards receive their own expansion icon and therefore become "regular" in my eyes...
