One got the feeling from prior statements from Phil that the goal would indeed be combined: not worth reprinting the box without the bestiary, and not worth doing the bestiary if the box doesn't come available again (that second one is a weaker proposition; I happily sold my book to the existing customer base, but more is better, etc).
But it's a forgivable assumption from "official" statements here and other places that the two are joined and one won't happen without the other - it didn't seem Phil was alluding to "bestiary, plus reprint as stretch goal" so much as "bestiary and reprint, together as an inherently profitable funding goal."
Of course, the precise KS strategy is probably still in flux, so "maybe" bestiary, "maybe" boxed set is a whole lotta maybe for both.
