The new Cardboard Hero's in the DFRPG Boxed Set are over 1/16" of an inch thick, card stock is not equivalent. If you have Ogre 6E, they're made out of the same stuff as the counters in that set, or standees in Munchkin.

That said, I have got a lot of use out of card stock Cardboard Hero's over the years.
